CONCEPTION

IT'S AN RPG, WHERE YOU PLAY AS SILVER THE HEDGEHOG THE FIRST TIME HE DECIDES TO GO WHOOP IBLIS' ASS. AS SUCH, HE'S A BIT INEXPERIENCED, SO WE NEED TO GET SOME...EXP, BY DEFEATING ENEMIES AND SAVING INNOCENT LIVES! #HEROISM. THAT'S THE VERY BASIC CONCEPT. OH, AND MY MOTIVE? THERE IS NOT ENOUGH WELL WRITTEN SILVER OUT THERE, AND I AM VERY INTERESTED IN THE '06 TIMELINE SPECIFICALLY.

WE WANT TO AVOID SCOPE CREEP. SO HERE IS MY PLAN OF WHAT I WANT TO ACCOMPLISH, NOTHING MORE, NOTHING LESS! - FAIRLY LARGE MAP OF CRISIS CITY - MAIN STORY MODE THAT ENDS WHEN YOU DEFEAT IBLIS - EMOTION AND HUNGER MECHANICS, A BIT OF A SURVIVAL GAME - ONLY A FEW HOURS LONG OF MAIN GAMEPLAY, BUT LOTS OF FLAVOR TEXT AND EXPLORATION THAT WILL EXTEND IT - A BATTLE SYSTEM THAT ISN'T AWFUL - MANY CUTE SILVER MOMENTS

MAIN GOAL: CHARACTERIZE SILVER *WELL*

I WANT TO SEE MORE SILVER IN THE WORLD, BUT I WANT IT TO BE IN CHARACTER. HE WAS AT HIS PEAK IN 'O6, SO I CAN'T MESS THAT PART UP! THE MAIN FOCUS OF THE GAME ISN'T GOING TO BE COOL BATTLE MECHANICS OR GRAPHICS OR WHATEVER, IT WILL BE SILVER AND HIS INTERACTIONS WITH THE WORLD, HOW HE THINKS AND WHAT DECISIONS HE MAKES. IT WON'T HAVE MULTIPLE ENDINGS OR ANYTHING, THOUGH THE PLAYER WILL BE FACED WITH HARD CHOICES.

WILL I FINISH THIS

I HOPE SO! I HAVE YET TO ABANDON A PROJECT. THAT'S NOT MY STYLE!!! I MAY BE LOWBALLING, BUT I'M THINKING THIS SHOULD TAKE ME...MAYBE A YEAR. IN THE MEANTIME I HAVE A PROFESSIONAL GAMEPLAN TO KEEP OUR INTEREST IN SONIC UP. TRUST ME, IT'S FOOLPROOF! WELL, I WILL FEEL BETTER ABOUT THIS POINT ONCE THERE'S MORE TO THE "GAME", FOR NOW IT'S JUST AN IDEA, REALLY. BUT I WILL SPEND MOST OF MY FRONTING MOMENTS TENDING TO IT, AND IN THE SUMMER HOPEFULLY PRODUCTION WILL REALLY SPEED UP!
